I have had a lot of crazy life-threatening challenges in recent years that continues to remind me one very important fact we all tend to forget in our busy lives: we’re living on borrowed time. None of us know when we might fall victim to a sudden disaster or illness. We all have an expiration date, some sooner than others, and alas I am under the impression I belong to the people with a short lifespan. I’m not writing this for dramatic effect or have anyone feel sorry for me. I’m writing this because you’re possibly following a project that may be doomed to end in an unresolved cliffhanger. It’s for this reason I’ve chosen to live from day to day with my current goals with no expectation of tomorrow—or the next hour. Moreover, game development is a highly complex, sometimes painful process and never quite comes out the way things were planned. Even the most seasoned teams can find themselves stuck in various stages of development limbo. Bottom line: I can’t offer guarantees and make promises. I’m just a normal human being struggling to release a second game. If you agree to these terms, then please let’s just enjoy the present moment together. Shall we?
